Summary

DNA?  Chemistry?  Statistics?  This is what I went to law school to avoid, but here it is in all my cases.  GACDL’s March Seminar is devoted entirely to combating the use of forensic science against your client.  With sessions on DNA, drug analysis, fingerprints, firearms toolmarks, electronically stored evidence, and more, you’ll learn the basics of how these disciplines are claimed to work and the best arguments to make to keep them out of court under our new Rule 702.

Saturday's Lineup:

- Advanced DNA: Kate Philpott

- Challenging Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis of Drugs: Joe Karpf

- Litigating Fingerprint Cases & Building As-Applied Challenges: Richard Gutierrez

- Challenging Firearms Toolmark Evidence: Emily Prokesch

- Electronic Surveillance - A Look at Big Brother's New Siblings/Partners and their Increasingly Effective Tools and Reach: Charles Mittelstadt
