Summary

Chemistry is not magic, nor is it a black box. With the rapidly changing drug market, chemists work to identify novel compounds and evaluate new analytical technologies and methodologies. Forensic Chemist Joe Karpf will discuss how to read and understand a Drug Identification Report and what a chemist should be able to explain in testimony. He will also discuss recent evidentiary challenges involving cannabis and THC analyses.
